Don't panic: you can simply go ahead and register via your web browser instead. using the radio button that is chosen by default when Register Sibelius opens, as soon as you click Next you will be told that there is a problem contacting Sibelius on the Internet. To register Sibelius 5 on Mac OS X 10.7, you must choose the Register by phone, fax or email radio button on the first page of the Register Sibelius dialog. If you encounter an error message that your serial number is corrupted, see here for the solution. If you are running Sibelius 5, you will need to update to Sibelius 5.4, otherwise you will experience a crash when showing the Mixer window. To register Sibelius 6 on Mac OS X 10.7, you must choose the Register using a web browser on this or another computer radio button on the first page of the Register Sibelius dialog.
